Meet Dorca

Hey there! My name is Dorca. I’m the heart and mind behind Sandcastle Rentals, located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I grew up in a family of teachers and engineers, but I decided to ride my own wave! With a degree in Criminal Justice and over 10+ years running a successful cleaning business (Enchanted Cleaning Services), I’ve built a reputation for reliability, attention to detail, care, creativity and guest interactions. 

I moved to Fort Walton in 2003 when I got married to my husband, Ramon.  He lived in Fort Walton before we got married. We had two kids (now a teenager and an adult). When I moved here, I didn't speak English, or have any family close by, it was only my husband and my newborn baby. It was a little frustrating being in what I thought was a completely different world, but every time that I drove to new places, everything reminded me of Puerto Rico; the beaches, restaurants on the coast, and the community.

I founded Enchanted Cleaning Services in 2015. I started to clean personal houses, especially for military families and then started to clean vacation rentals. And ever since then my business started to expand. I gained new clients and new experiences. I always make an effort to learn about all my clients and make them feel welcomed and feel comfortable in a clean home/rental.  Over these years, I have learned how to properly manage vacation rentals as well as keep them clean. I am very confident in my abilities of managing because of all my past and present experiences. In 2025 we purchased our first condo at Destin West Bayside, where we’ve continued to expand our experience in condo ownership and management. 

Here’s a fun fact: even though I come from a Caribbean island, I still don’t know how to swim! 😅 But that hasn’t stopped me from loving the ocean and helping others enjoy it to the fullest. Not only do I manage and clean condos! My husband Ramon and I remodel them as well. Actually, he is the one that remodels and I do the decorations, color picking, and give him a headache 🙃.
